Area Governor

 
Duties/Responsibilities
 

The Area Governor is responsible for Clubs within the Area and is the District representative to the Clubs in the Area. Standards expected of an Area Governor can be found in the Area Leadership Handbook. The Area Governor shall hold regular Area Council meetings and appoint an Area staff. The Area Governor shall perform such duties as prescribed by the District Governor and District Council.

Qualifications

 

In so far as practicable, the Area Governor shall have served as a member of a District Council.

Assistant Area Governor: Each Area Governor is encouraged to appoint an assistant to help with all the above duties. Qualifications: a willing, motivated, enthusiastic Toastmaster
