Here's an overview of the changes in the Educational Program

This new program began July 1, 2006

    There's a NEW manual on Leadership and a NEW Leadership award
      A 10-Project Competent Leadership (CL) manual can be completed while serving in
          club meeting roles.
      Manuals available in January 2006
      Those completing manual will receive the new Competent Leader award.
      Members may apply for the new award in July 2006
      Order Catalog #265 for $6.00 plus shipping

    New titles for existing leadership awards
      Competent Leader (CL) becomes Advanced Leader Bronze award (ALB)
      Current Advanced Leader (AL) becomes Advanced Leader Silver (ALS)
      New Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB) requires completion of new Leadership manual
    New titles for Communication Track awards
      Competent Toastmaster (CTM) becomes Competent Communicator (CC)
      Advanced Toastmaster Bronze (ATM-B) becomes Advanced Communicator Bronze (ACB) 
      Advanced Toastmaster Silver (ATM-S) becomes Advanced Communicator (ACS)
      Advanced Toastmaster Gold (ATM-G) becomes Advanced Communicator (ACG)
    New titles for Manuals
      Communication and Leadership Program manual (C&L) becomes
          Competent Communication manual
      Advanced Communication and Leadership manuals become Advanced Communication
          manuals
    Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) requirements
      To become a Distinguished Toastmaster, a member MUST have
      Advanced Communicator Gold (or current Advanced Toastmaster Gold) AND
      Advanced Leader Silver (or current Advanced Leaders) awards
