Serving
as a
Club officer
is the easiest way to get started in a
leadership position. There's little time
commitment, you learn by doing, you're
trained by the district and you can
practice life-enhancing skills.
Once
you have a basic understanding of
leadership fundamentals, take that next step and move into a district leadership
position. Serving as
Area Governor, Division Governor
and as one of the top four district
officers will provide you with ever
increasing responsibilities and rewards.
Serving as the
District Governor
is akin to being CEO of a small company.
How often will you be presented with
such an opportunity?
Want
an even bigger challenge? Why not
consider serving as an International Director or as one of the five Executive
Officers that oversee our organization?
Leadership is not learned just by
serving as an officer. Serving on
committees, chairing a conference and
organizing training or a contest also
teaches valuable leadership lessons.
The
High Performance Leadership Program
and the
Success Leadership
modules offer valuable, practical
advice. Leaders are not born.
They study
and work at it! |
