Parade of Club Banners

The Parade of Club Banners is a procession that opens the conference on Saturday morning. A representative from each club carries his/her club banner. One representative will be selected to carry the district banner. The procession is very impressive and really sets the mood for the conference. This is an opportunity to show your club’s Toastmasters pride to the entire district.

Parade of Club Banners It is easy to participate.
  • Select a club member to represent your club.

  • Bring your club banner with you to the conference.

  • Arrive early and sign in at registration.

  • Find your seat and secure your belongings.

  • Join the queue in the banner staging area.

  • Line up by Club number, smaller to bigger. Adjustments will be made for longevity. Senior clubs will proceed junior clubs.

  • When given the signal, enter the main room.
Show your pride as you march in with your Club Banner!

Tip: We would like to display as many banners as possible in the main room of the conference. The facility will not allow us to hang banners on the wall. Please bring a portable banner stand to display your banner in the main room during the conference. Do not be discouraged if your banner does not have many ribbons. During the breaks, walk around and look at the banners.
If you find a banner with lots of ribbons, find someone from that club to discover what they do and take those ideas back to your club.
