Six months into our Toastmaster year is a great time to reflect on our successes, our struggles, and our future. We are seeing a renewed vigor throughout District 18 as our clubs reach and exceed their membership and educational goals. This success is the direct result of each of you using this great opportunity to change and grow - to Revolutionize Your Reality - and to help others do the same. I hope that this incredible growth continues through this year and into the future. How is your personal journey going? Are you reaching and exceeding your goals? Regardless of your answer, take a few moments to imagine where you can go with this awesome opportunity. Use the Toastmasters programs to develop your leadership and communication skills. What can you achieve in the next few months by giving prepared speeches, attending meetings and supporting the agenda, steeping out to fill leadership roles in the club, in contests, and in life? Ask your club officers to help guide you toward those goals. Use your club for that mutually supportive and positive learning environment to help you reach every goal and dream! Remember, we are a learning organization where failure is just the next step to success. Take the next 6 months and stretch yourself, set new boundaries, and reach for your dreams. The journey is an awesome ride and I am glad to be sharing it with you. It is a privilege and honor to serve as the District Governor for such a distinguished and accomplished district made up of such distinguished and accomplished Toastmasters and people. Our entire leadership team wishes each one of you a tremendous 2010 full of success and accomplishment.
