Nominating District Officers

Your district leaders are elected each year at the business meeting at the Spring District 18 Conference. This year's conference will be held on May 8, 2010 at the Dover Sheraton in Dover, Delaware. The deadline for submitting your nomination for a district leadership position for the 2010-2011 Toastmasters year is Friday, March 19, 2010. Read the information below and follow the instructions for completing the required forms.

Required Forms for Elected Positions

Please complete, sign, and submit the following forms to Ann Larrow, Chair of the Nominating Committee.
Forms must be postmarked or received via email no later than Friday, March 19, 2010.

  1. Signed Procedural Rules for Campaigns for District Office and the Election of District Officers - affirming that you have read and understood these rules
  2. Signed Political and Campaign Ethics - affirming that you have read and understood this policy
  3. Signed Officer Agreement and Release Statement
  4. Signed District Officer Nominating Form
  5. Signed letter explaining your reasons for running for elective office; how your Toastmasters experience has prepared you to serve in this role; and what you hope to accomplish in this role.
