Paige Stanton

Paige Stanton is a creative speaker and humorous speech contest winner with Toastmasters International. She has been awarded the Advanced Toastmaster Bronze speaking certificate. Adding to her list of accomplishments, Paige also has her Competent Leader certification and has held several leadership positions including  Vice  President of  Membership,

Area Governor and Speakers Bureau Coordinator. Paige has lived in Annapolis, Maryland for the past 18 years. She has been married to a wonderful man for 24 years and has 2 healthy teenage boys that give her plenty of material to talk about.

Her career histories range from the health field to sales. She currently works for a biopharmaceutical company in the Baltimore area and has won various awards for outstanding sales.

Paige has given speeches in front of small and large audiences such as Maryland’s American Business Women’s Association on the “Fear of Public Speaking” and Ordinance Road Correctional Institution on “Standing up for Change”. She is currently helping others improve their speaking skills and teaching them how to put together a well rounded presentation.

Speeches:

1.    Fear of Public Speaking:

The quickest way to get a person to stop talking is to ask them to stand up in front of an audience and say something. If this is your problem, you are not alone.  In fact the fear of public speaking is more common than the fear of dying.

Paige will help you better understand and control your fear.

2.    Stand up for Change:

Change is difficult and often it’s easier to just sit it out, but change is enviable and can be fun. Yes I said fun! Let me teach you small easy steps to work through your desire to change for the better.

3.    Choose Life:

We all have free will and have to answer for our choices. Some things we say or do can bring life or death to situations and people around us. A positive attitude is important, but actions speak loader than words.

4.    Don’t Sell Yourself Short:

Have people tried to keep you down or are you your own worst enemy?

Do you have dreams for your life and can’t seem to take the 1st step forward with out the fear of taking 2 steps back. Get inspired with this speech and move toward your desires.

5.    Giving a Speech can be S.I.M.P.L.E and E.A.S.Y.:

Not sure how to get started putting together a presentation? Whether you are still in school or a corporate executive, knowing how to organize and present your information in an interesting and entertaining fashion is essential.

Paige’s S.I.M.P.L.E. and E.A.S.Y method works.

6.    How to Play Nicely in the Sandbox:

A humorous way at looking at how your past experiences play into adulthood.

There are many lessons we’ve learned when playing in the sandbox, lessons we can apply to our social and work environment today.

7.    With Just a Little Extra Effort You Can

With a little extra effort you can accomplish anything.

Maybe you’d like to become a top sales representative, I can help.

In my experience there is no magic bullet to make you excel in sales. By simply and carefully planning out your day and adding that extra touch in your customer service, you can go from the bottom to the top in sales.

“One thing I especially liked – and that our members noticed too – was how you dove-tailed your workshop with our own standard meeting format…..Our people felt comfortable throughout the evening. And had fun too!”
Diana Larmore, President of Maryland Capital Chapter,

American Business Women’s Association

Your presentation was a success and the inmates truly benefited from the evening. I think that you really held their attention…. Some of the comments were: ‘She had a lot of courage – even though the crowd wasn’t very friendly – she continued to win them over!’ and ‘I liked her enthusiasm best’...”
