Doug Strand |

Doug
has been a Materials Engineer with The U.S. Army Research Laboratory for the
past twenty years, is a Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer, and holds two
Master's Degrees, one in Physics (1982) and another in Materials Science and Engineering
(2004). He is a Distinguished Toastmaster, DTM (2003), Past Division Governor of
Toastmasters, and has been a Toastmasters Club President for three years.

Governor for two years in Baltimore, has been a licensed real estate broker
for twenty years in two states, once taught high school mathematics, physics
and chemistry for 5 years, has taught adult professional education (week
long seminars all over the world) for 5 years for The Department of Defense
in nondestructive testing and corrosion prevention and control, adjunct
professor of mathematics at Harford Community College, Bel Air, MD for one
full
semester (2001),
and served on the synod council of The Delaware-Maryland Synod of The
Evangelical
Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) for two years (2000-2001). |
