1. Club Presidents, Vice Presidents of Education, and District Executive Committee members get one vote each.
2. Voting members MUST register by 11:59PM EDT on Friday, September 22, 2023, in order to vote.
3. The meeting agenda, budget, and registration instructions are posted on the D18 website 2023 Fall Business Meeting page for review and
4. All feedback, comments, requests for change/update, and/or requests for new motions must be submitted to [email protected] by September 15, 2023.
5. Our district budget has been created with guidance and special training from Toastmasters International World Headquarters and was given preliminary approval by their Finance Team. The proposed agenda was created and reviewed by the Business Meeting.
6. A quorum is required. District 18 Quorum is 1/3 of Clubs Eligible x 2, therefore…

Clubs Eligible 94 x 2 = 188
Quorum (1/3 of 188) = 63 (rounded up)
Thus, 63 Club Presidents and VP of Education Officers must attend to reach a quorum.

7. No proxy is permitted. Each District Council member must cast their own vote.
8. District Executive Committee members are entitled to one vote and may cast up to one additional vote as a club President or VP of Education of their own club if the only one present at the meeting.
