What is Toastmasters?

District 18 Welcomes You!

You are always welcome at a Toastmasters meeting. You may participate if you wish or watch and listen as you become familiar with the Toastmasters experience.

What should you expect?

As a guest, you will be introduced so that the club members know who you are, and we encourage you to join us. The decision to take that first step towards becoming a better speaker is entirely up to you.

Why Toastmasters?

Visit a Club in District 18

Visiting a club is the best way to learn about the Toastmasters experience.

If you can visit more than one club, that’s even better because every club has its own individual personality. However, every Toastmasters club still adheres to the core principles of Toastmasters, which is to improve its members’ speaking skills in a supportive environment.

You can use the Toastmasters International Find-a-Club tool (or click on the map below) to find clubs in your area. Use the tips below to narrow down your search.

Additional Search Options

Club Name or Number: If you already know the name or number of the club you’re looking for, you can search for it directly.

Meeting Day and Time: Find meetings that match your availability by choosing days and times that work for you.

Club Status: If you’re new to Toastmasters, you may want to limit your search to open clubs. These are clubs without any special restrictions on membership (e.g., employment at a particular company or experience in Toastmasters).

Contact a Club: Using the telephone number or email provided. If the club has its own website, you may get additional contact information.

If you cannot find a club to visit using the Find-a-Club tool, please let us know—we’ll do our best to get you connected.
