2025 District 18 Spring Business Meeting Instructions
Club Presidents, Vice Presidents of Education, and District Executive Committee members get one vote each. If you are not attending in person, you need to submit your proxy before the start of the business meeting. Ideally, as soon as possible, or before the start of the District Conference.

All feedback, comments request for change/update and/or request for new motions must be submitted to dd@toastmasters-d18.org by 1:00pm EDT – April 19, 2025. This date will allow the district to make adjustments and repost and be compliant with protocol 7.1
A District 18 Quorum is 1/3 of Clubs Eligible x 2, therefore…
- Club Eligible 92
- Quorum (1/3 of 184) = 62
- 61 Club Presidents and VP of Education Officers needed in attendance to make quorum
Highlights
- The District Business Meeting will be held in person for the first time since 2019.
- Quorum is required to approve any of the above items of business, which means 1/3 of eligible club votes must be represented.
- District Executive Committee members are entitled to one vote and may cast up to a maximum of three votes.
Any new motions to come before the council must be presented via email to the District Director at dd@toastmasters-d18.org by 1:00pm EDT – April 19, 2025. This date will allow the district to make adjustments and repost, and be compliant with protocol 7.1
