2026 District 18 Spring Business Meeting Instructions

Club Presidents, Vice Presidents of Education, and District Executive Committee members get one vote each.  If you are not attending in person, you need to submit your proxy before the start of the business meeting.  Ideally, as soon as possible, or before the start of the District Conference.

All feedback, comments request for change/update and/or request for new motions must be submitted to dd@toastmasters-d18.org by 2:00 PM ET – April 11, 2026. This date will allow the district to make adjustments and repost and be compliant with protocol 7.1

A District 18 Quorum is 1/3 of Clubs Eligible x 2, therefore…

• Clubs eligible on date of business meeting = xx
• Quorum = (1/3 of eligible clubs x 2)
• Club Presidents and VP of Education Officers need to be in attendance to make quorum

Highlights

• Quorum is required to approve any of the above items of business, which means 1/3 of eligible club votes must be represented.
• District Executive Committee members are entitled to one vote and may cast up to a maximum of three votes.
